Day 1
After flying into Marrakesh, you'll be met by a private driver and transferred into the city. You'll stay here for three nights either in a riad in the medina or just outside the centre if you prefer something quieter.
Day 2
Today you'll enjoy a tour of historical Marrakesh, including the Saadien Tombs and the Badi and Bahia Palaces with a knowledgeable local guide.
Day 3
Today is at leisure for you to explore some of the hidden sides to the medina, peaceful and beautiful spaces amidst the chaos of the walled city. Grab some souvenirs whilst wandering the souks.
Day 4
Transfer to Rabat, the administrative capital, where you'll stay overnight. Your afternoon is at leisure to explore the kasbah and atmospheric Chellah ruins.
Day 5
Head up to artist haven and pretty fishing town of Asilah on the Atlantic Coast. Your afternoon is at leisure to walk around the ramparts surrounding the medina and check out the colourful murals adorning the white-washed walls.
Day 6
Today you'll transfer up to Tangier, the port city with a European feel. This afternoon we recommend that you visit the Caves of Hercules, St. Andrew's church and the ancient kasbah.
Day 7
You'll be picked up by your driver today and driven via Mdiq and Tetouan to the striking mountain town of Chefchaouen for a two-night stay.
Day 8
Take a day at leisure in Chefchaouen, pottering around the blue medina and taking strolls in the surrounding Rif mountains.
Day 9
You and your driver will travel down to Fez today, one of Morocco's ancient Imperial cities, for a stay of three nights.
Day 10
Today you'll have a tour of Old and New Fez (but both are hundreds of years old!) to see some of the city's most dazzling highlights, including the famous leather tanneries.
Day 11
You'll head out on a full-day excursion today to the historical sites of Meknes and Volubilis, a wonderful trip seeing what lies just beyond Fez's boundaries. We recommend stopping off in the town of Moulay Idriss for lunch in between.
Day 12
It's a long day today, driving south to the towering dunes of the Erg Chebbi for a night under the stars in a fixed desert camp.
Day 13
Heading west you'll pass the dramatic Todra and Dades Gorges before arriving in Skoura, a charming oasis-fringed town.
Day 14
Explore the kasbahs and palm plantations of Skoura. This is a lovely place to relax as it's always quiet – definitely an ideal spot for soaking up the atmosphere.
Day 15
Your driver collects you this morning and you head off over the Atlas Mountains, via UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou. You'll stay in the mountains for two nights.
Day 16
Day at leisure in the Atlas to explore at leisure, Speak to your hotel to arrange local guides for hiking.
Day 17
Today you'll head to the old capital of Taroudant in the Sous Valley.
Days 18
You'll be transferred four hours up the coast to your final stop, the laid-back beach town of Essaouira for some down-time.
Day 19
Relax and unwind today. Head to the port for sunset!
Day 20
Final day at leisure to relax in Essaouira. While you're here don't forget to sample some of the local fresh fish, and take longs strolls along the shoreline.
Day 21
You'll be transferred back to Marrakesh Airport today, in good time for your return flight.

From here, head to imperial city Fez for some ancient history before making the leap down to the Sahara desert, top of anyone’s Morocco bucket list, to spend a night under the stars. You’ll then trace west through palm plantations and the ‘land of 1000 kasbahs’, up and over Atlas mountain passes, past the old capital of Taroudant, before finishing in pretty Essaouira for some well-earned beach time.
