Day 5
Your driver collects you today for your journey into the Rif Mountains, for two nights in blue-hued and beautiful Chefchaouen.
Day 6
Explore Chefchaouen under your own steam; this town is very small so easily explored on foot for a few hours, meandering around the little lanes.

Your journey continues on to Tangier today, and en route you'll stop by UNESCO World Heritage site at Tetouan and lunch on Morocco's beautiful Mediterranean coast.
Day 8

Day 9
You head south along the Atlantic coast today to Asilah, a small artistic town that's an ideal stop for some relaxing beach time. Stay here for the next three nights.
Day 10
Unwind on a free day in Asilah. Take walks on the beaches north of the centre, potter around the pristine medina, and take in the views out to the Atlantic.

Although the south of Morocco gets more attention and recognition, the north has just as much to offer in the way of incredible ancient cities, stunning landscapes and the chance for some beach time. This itinerary covers three of the four “Imperial Cities”: Rabat, Meknes and Fez, as well as Tangier with its chequered past, the mountain enclave of Chefchaouen, and Asilah – a quieter, less-developed version of more famous Essaouira.

The north is also more efficiently linked in terms of train travel, with most of these places well connected by rail. Some people use the network here and there to save money (first class tickets are extremely affordable) while others use it just for the romantic experience of train travel in a foreign land!

4 nights Fez – 2 nights Chefchaouen – 2 nights Tangier – 3 nights Asilah – 2 nights Rabat
