The lagoon at Oualidia is perfect for watersports, especially for beginners: protected from the Atlantic swell and generally shallow enough to stand in, it’s a safe environment for the novice; and for the more accomplished it’s a great place for going flat-out. The other side of the dunes, the big ocean breakers allow experienced windsurfers and kite surfers the chance to test their skills, whilst surfers usually have a couple of decent breaks to choose from.
