The “Imperial Cities” of Morocco, the four cities that have been capital of the country (Marrakesh, Fez, Meknes and Rabat) form the backbone of a great itinerary for those interested in history, culture, and being fully immersed in the sights, sounds and smells of an ancient society. Fleshed out with some other fascinating cities and towns, like louche Tangier, reclusive Chefchaouen, and picturesque El Jadida, this holiday gets so much out of Morocco in just a fortnight.
