Day 1
Take an early morning flight to Marrakesh, where you'll be met by your driver and taken over the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass to Ait Ben Haddou, your base for two nights.
Day 2
Today you'll take a stroll around Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco's most recognisable UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Day 3
You continue eastwards along the Dades Valley, past the Dades and Todra Gorges, to the Erg Chebbi for your night in a luxury desert camp. This includes breakfast and dinner, a sunset camel ride, and evening entertainment.
Day 4
Returning along the Dades Valley, you have the chance to explore the gorges and plantations a bit more before arriving in Skoura for a couple of nights.
Day 5
Explore the kasbahs and palm plantations of Skoura. Here you can ride bikes to wend your way along the quite palm-fringed roads, and generally soak up the atmospheric surroundings.
Day 6
Today is a bit of adventure has you take to a mountain road in a 4x4, through the heartlands of the once-powerful Glaoui tribe, to their headquarters at Telouet. From there you continue back to Marrakesh for the final four nights of the trip.
Day 7
You have a tour of the historical sites of Marrakesh today, including the Saadien Tombs and the Badi and Bahia Palaces.
Day 8
Today's tour stays in the medina but seeks out the less well-known but beautiful and peaceful corners of the walled city.
Day 9
Relax or explore under your own steam; today might be a good opportunity to visit the Yves Saint Laurent Museum and Majorelle Gardens.
Day 10
You'll be picked up from your riad in the medina and take via private transfer back to the airport in time for your flight home.

A visit to the Sahara is for many people one of the highlights of Morocco; one of those bucket list, once-in-a-lifetime trips. The distances from Marrakesh are very large (it’s an eight-hour drive straight to the fringes of the desert, let alone the camps!), but fortunately the route, along the stunning southern oasis valleys, is just as memorable. A circuit out to the Sahara Desert and back through the palm groves with their crumbling kasbahs can be followed with a few days in Marrakesh to relax, giving you an itinerary full of incredible memories and countless spectacular photo opportunities!

2 nights Ait Ben Haddou – 1 night Erg Chebbi – 2 nights Skoura – 4 nights Marrakesh
