Day 1
Fly into Marrakesh and have a private transfer to your Palmeraie hotel, if you choose to stay out here. If not, you'll be taken to your riad in the medina.
Day 2
You have a tour of some of the less well-known places of the medina today; these are a little more peaceful with fewer tourists, so a good option for visiting with kids!
Day 3
A day at leisure to relax by the pool, visit the vibrant Jardin Majorelle, or head back into the medina under your own steam.
Day 4
You have a private transfer to Essaouira today, where you spend the next four nights.
Day 5
There's plenty to do in Essaouira to entertain all the family. One thing we definitely suggest while you're here is a horse or camel ride, both of which can be done on the beach.
Day 6
At some point in your stay, a cookery class is great (and tasty!) fun for the whole family. A local riad runs these classes, and there is also a dessert class for those with a sweet tooth!
Day 7
You're free at leisure today to relax and enjoy the beach, or lie back on a lounger by the pool and take the odd dip here and there to cool off.
Day 8
Today you'll have a private transfer back to Marrakesh Airport in good time for your flight home.

Morocco is a wonderful destination for families – Moroccans love children and your young ones will open doors and relax attitudes as you travel round. The sights, sounds and smells of the souqs in Marrakesh will be fascinating for them, as will the bright colours of the Jardin Marjorelle where you can weave between the leafy walkways and spot turtles in the ponds. If you don’t want your family in the thick of the medina, an oasis-like region called the Palmeraie, just outside the city, could be the perfect option for more space and some beautiful hotels. In Essaouira there’s a long stretch of beach ideal for running around on, or a camel ride if the kids want the full Moroccan experience!

3 nights Marrakesh – 4 nights Essaouira
