Day 1
Arrive into Marrakesh Airport, where you will be picked up and transferred three hours to the charming coastal town of Essaouira.
Day 2
You have today at leisure in Essaouira; hours can be spent exploring the twisting medina streets, walking the historic ramparts, or wandering around the port.
Day 3
This morning you will take part in our favourite Essaouira cooking class, located in a former almond warehouse. You’ll be guided through the preparation of an authentic Moroccan meal, which you’ll then enjoy in the wonderfully ambient oriental lounge.
Day 4
You are met by your driver and he will take you up to the Atlas Mountains. This drive should take just under four hours and you'll have ample opportunity for breaks along the way.
Day 5
Today you have a full day walk in the Ouirgane Valley, taking in the beautiful hillside with mountain views, as well as seeing traditional Berber farmers at work in this remarkably fertile hideaway. This day out includes lunch, and it’s around five hours of walking at an easy/moderate level.
Day 6
Today you are taken to your luxury tented camp in the Agafay Stone Desert, a wonderfully unique alternative to the vast Sahara. Live like a nomad for the day – walk through the desert with the 'blue men', take a camel or horse ride, then enjoy a romantic dinner under the stars.
Day 7
Your last few days will be spent in Marrakesh. Today is at leisure and we recommend checking out your hotel's spa and hammam, before exploring the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square this evening.
Day 8
This morning you'll have a medina tour with a local guide inside the exciting souks of Marrakesh, a feast for the senses. Taste regional produce, smell the heady aromas of spice and oil, be dazzled by the myriad of colour, and absorb the cacophony of sounds around you.
Day 9
For your final afternoon we've arranged a food tasting tour with a local guide to show you the delicacies of the city. Visit a traditional bakery, spice souk, olive, preserved lemons and date stands, and sample some delicious Tangia in the square, washed down with a Moroccan mint tea.
Day 10
Fly home after an incredible adventure in Morocco!

Everything we do is tailor-made; our itineraries are just suggestions to give you an idea of what is possible. Please contact us so we can tailor the perfect holiday exclusively for you.

When picturing Morocco it’s easy to conjure up the searing heat of the Sahara Desert, hot days on sandy beaches or seeking shade in city souks, but what you might not consider is Morocco as a great winter destination. The climate is very similar to that of southern Europe, with cool but often pleasant weather between the months of November and February. While you probably won’t be in shorts and a t-shirt during a winter break in Morocco, it will be cosy, romantic and inviting – think warming fireplaces, quiet and peaceful markets, and snow-capped mountains in the distance.

This itinerary takes you on a journey through southern Morocco (the more clement part of the country!) to the seaside town of Essaouira, into the mountains, a night under the stars in the wilderness, and finishing in Marrakesh, a city made even more alluring without the throngs of tourists that descend upon it in spring. Perfectly suiting a couple looking for a tranquil break, we have filled this tour with magical experiences that will get you to the heart of Morocco, and packed it with all those juicy low season offers.
