Full of character and colour, Dar Echchaouen is a place to live out the Morocco of your dreams. Each room and suite is spacious and individually designed, with private bathrooms and traditional tilework, plus they have worked on the hotel so much over the last couple of years so everything is feeling very fresh. The hotel’s beautiful outdoor area, complete with swimming pool, creates a dreamy place to relax and unwind in the sunshine while you look out over the views of the blue houses dotted along the hillside in the distance. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the medina, but the blessing of it being outside the central area is that it’s much quieter at night. We also love the restaurant and they put on a cracking breakfast buffet too!
