Stepping into the cool courtyard at the entrance of Palais De L’O, a peaceful ambience wraps round you. The décor is largely Moroccan and subtle, but other influences can be found in the nautical maps on the lobby walls and the colourful modern prints on the room walls. Breakfast can be taken around the pool, set in the modestly sized but attractively planted gardens. Wandering down to the end of those gardens, you find the spa. Sunk into the ground the spa has a vast, two-storey window looking out from the indoor pool over the vegetable patch, from where the chefs will harvest much of the fine food that will end up on your plate at meal times.
