The White Camel in Morocco’s Agafay Stone Desert is about as luxurious as you can get sleeping out under the stars. There are two options for accommodation at White Camel: a spacious Bedouin style tent with fabric walls and en suite facilities, or the more decadent lodges, which have floor-to-ceiling windows opposite the bed so you can look out on the other-worldly scenery without having to lift your head off the pillow! There are two restaurant tents – one (Singita) creating more of a formal dining area, and the second (Nomad) that is a large tented area with open-sides, more suited to informal coffees and taking in the breeze.
